On your's it looks like the split was right at the lower edge of where it's welded to the arm and not in the middle of the arm like the one eddo posted. Is that the case? If so, then there really wasn't much holding the split together.

I'm pretty sure the Moog lca's are not welded/ open on the bottom side like his pic. I'm sure it's so water doesn't get trapped in there. I would have to go look to be sure

My Moog arms have that open part at the bottom like OEM. I think you're right about drainage.

Okay. We can disagree on whether that arm had pre-existing damage. The speed bumps at the mall won't cause that failure.

:notsure: Generally take the wife's car to the mall. I use the Tacoma to chase these guys around in the desert. Main reason the eyes on my lowers are strapped.

Yeah I don't even offroad my taco anymore I'm afraid to and can't afford it haha. Its been a good truck overall but I'm selling this thing soon for sure. no real reason to have it anymore I've sunk enough money into it as it is anyways

Glad I had mine replaced last week when I saw the boot torn on the lower ball joint leaking grease. They replaced the entire LCA.
