    Yeah, it was all taken care of by the bank that was financing me? But, I just had to make sure because I had to "release" my Civic to me when I got the pink slip for my Civic.     Randy.... most people Will not find what they want by sitting at home. Take a job that lets you talk to people. Even if it's a crap job. You will talk to people and your opening will arrive. But sitting around waiting is like bait and wait fishing... You have to wait for the right fish to come to you. If your using a plastic or lure then you are always casting and reeling. Therefore covering more of the lake and more likely to come across a fish you wanted.

    It really was a good car... trust me, I had it for about 12yrs or so!!! At about 232k, the tranny gave out, BUT I THINK I may have been the cause of that one when I took an off-ramp too hard (i.e. I never took that off-ramp before and it turned RIGHT really QUICK... it was dark and late at night as well). Anyways, I hit the driver side pretty HARD on a small "curb", if you will, that the off-ramp actually had. NOT too long after, that is when I started having problems and the whole tranny just took a dump.

    Anyways, an extremely reliable car... you guys have NO IDEA!!!

    I've been going through a temp agency... technically 2x of them... and I've been getting the interviews, but just not getting the job because they considered me "overqualified". But, I do hear you and that is why I am going to be doing some walk-ins, just things came up and I wanted to get those done first. Actually, first thing tomorrow morning, I'm doing a walk-in just down the street from me... a few actually.

    I did have a temp job for just over 3mo. But, I hear you though and that is why I'm going to do what I said starting tomorrow. :thumbsup::fistbump::cheers:

    @JaCado Jay, I've also been actually going to businesses to fill out applications as well. So, I'm definitely just NOT "sitting here at my desk". For example, I went to a place called Sanmina in Costa Mesa and actually got 2x "informal interviews" that very same day actually... just nothing came of it. That was around 3x months ago now... come to think of it, I'll do another walk-in tomorrow as well since it's been that long. I really did like it there... well, from what I could see?! :notsure:

    Also, both of the interviewers definitely showed interest in me, BUT, it was ultimately up to the guy hiring for the position that they knew that was open... he was not present during that time that the two were interviewing me.

    I never said you were just sitting around, was just making a general statement. Glad your not sitting still. Just keep showing up to those places often enough and you will get hired. When you show up more being unpaid than one of the employees who are actually paid. Lol you get a job.
