It also shows them that your willing to work not just fill out a sheet of paper and wait for phone call.

LOL!!! I JUST had a phone conversation with an HR lady for a place in Cypress, I think it was... anyways, I said the EXACT same thing, but it's ALL online nowadays for most places and that happen to be one of them!!! :frusty: Quite honestly, if I was a hiring person and I knew someone came in with that type of mindset, I would put them at the front of the line for sure!!! BUT, that's just me???!!! I wouldn't want someone to fill-out an online and then just sit on their A$$ for me to call them... WTF!!! I MISS those days bro, where you could just do shi* like that... I'm tooooo "old school" apparently!!! F'N LAZYA$$ people these days bro!!! o_O

    EDIT:
Like I said in another post before this one, "I" really DID work my A$$ OFF while going to school and have friends and family that can vouch for that!!! No $$$ handouts, help from the gov, in that sense... "I" PUT MYSELF through college because my parents definitely couldn't afford it... although, they DID help as much as they possibly could!!!

Since no one else knows what an artichoke is I'm going to blow your mind right now dude so you take your melted butter with some garlic salt for a little extra salt in there feel some pepper in there mix it up.
then take some mayonnaise and put some lemon pepper in their garlic salt regular Pepper and a little bit of Lowry's if you like it.
While you're mixing the mayonnaise together with the stuff put it in little increments and then taste it because if you put too much it'll kill it.

Dip the artichoke in the butter and then in the mayonnaise if you like mayonnaise and consume and enjoy

I have always gone in the place I wanted to work and hang out for a bit maybe an hour to see how it's run and if I really wanted to work there. While standing there You will see things that need to be done even if it's just picking up trash in the yard. With in a week I usually had a job. I understand it's a tough market. I have tried to look for work at time when I have to and yeah the online game sucks hairy donkey balls. Isn't it just judging a book by its cover and expecting or assuming that all lifestyles and people (like sheep) will all conform and get along to achieve company goals.

I actually saved this recipe so that my mom might be able to eat this!!!:fistbump: There are certain things she has a hard time eating though... is it a fairly "soft food" after being cooked??? :notsure: It would be easier for her if it was "soft food".

Silver because it's 2 stage paint compared to single stage white.

When I started working for DTC (Discount Tire Co) back in the day, my first week on the tire machine, they would just have me "practice" with a "dead tire" and some POS steel wheel. Then, after a few hours of that and maybe some other smaller duties, it was time for me to "go home". I got paid for it of course. Anyways, I asked my boss on the 2nd or 3rd day if I could come in, off the clock, so that I can continue practicing? He didn't have a problem with that (NOTE: nowadays, you can't do shi* like that for insurance reasons and all that stuff, which, I do understand that...). I ended up working for DTC for about 14yrs in the "garage" as a tire tech while putting myself through school.

But yeah, I did something very similar, in that sense!!! I wanted to "learn" things so I could do the job!!!:fistbump::cheers:

LOL, I still know how to use the COATS 40-40 (the machine I first started on) and Rim Clamp machine. I WISH I could have my own so I can do my own tires whenever I want to... LMAO!!! Even a balancer machine!!!:fistbump::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Machines I have actually used. There are other rim clamps I have used as well. BTW, if you're NOT careful with the 4040, you WILL CHOP a finger or two or three or four or etc OFF!!! There was a guy that had the tip of his finger completely severed and it was "dead" by the time they got to the hospital and such... so he had no tip on his index finger, if I remember right? Anyways... the pics bring back some memories, LOL!!!

We had those machines in the motorcycle shops I worked in. Makes life easy. Way better then spoons anyday. Just have to watch closely that your not snagging or pinching tubes on the motorcycle tires.

I spend a lot of time on the manual coats 220 machine. On those stiffer tires, it sure gave you a workout.
