Anyone know which Yakima Mighty Mounts I would need for the factory Tacoma roof rack?

There are several different models and no easy way to tell which ones I need. :(

What are you trying to attach to the factory bars? I have the Thule snowboarding vertical holders with the wide-mouth clamps and they work with a little bit of modification to the clamps.:)

    Reviving an old thread here...

Has anyone used the "V series" MightyMounts on the factory cross bars? 12v, 9v, 11v, ... What size would fit?

I know Yakima makes the C clamps MightyMounts and they look more durable, but they add about an inch in height. These V series ones look low profile and I only want to carry fishing poles in some Yakima ski racks.

Curious to know if anyone out there knows which Yakima Mighty Mounts will fit on the 2016 OEM Tacoma roof rack? Can't seem to find this information anyway. Any help or advice would be appreciated

This thread is dead lol I'm pretty sure the 3rd gen and 2nd gen roof racks are exactly the same. I never figured out which mighty mounts to get so I went with the universal mounts.

I think Yakima might have ceased making the might mounts because you can't find much info on them for newer trucks - at least for ours anyways.

Thanks. Been searching today and sounds like you are right. The universal mounts are pretty much their one fits all solution. Not sure how good they are.

I use mine to attach the ski racks which I use to carry fishing rods.
