Never been a fan of the H series. B18c1, b18c5, b16a, b16b is where it all started. K series are no slouch either.

I am happy if I can control it to 'use what you consume' for carbs.

 

H22 was never cast iron blocks though. Of all of the b, h, and k series engine. The H22 is weakest without sleeving the cylinders from the crappy composite liner it has from the factory. At least the b, d, and k series came with cast steel liners from the factory.
