Just a geewizz update. I checked that catch can a 2 weeks after installing it and maybe a couple drops of sludge. Here it is after one trip towing the trailer. I typically run between 2200-3300 rpms while towing. The higher rpms definatley have a little more blow by as there's about 2 tablespoons of fuel oil here after one trip.

Oh and I may have scheduled Nitro 4.88s for early August :bananadance::dancingbacon::broccoli::jellydance::kona:

And by the way BROHAM leg day is at least 3-4 days a week as I'm long as im running PT on Engine 603C lol.

Ha ha, glad to hear it!

Im in the same boat, absokutrly in love with my truck. Some of the recent mods really set it over the top. Gears, leather, dynamat and rear shocks, man, the thing is just a pleasure to drive. If you haven't dynamatted, something you should consider. Such an amazing improvement especially when on long haul road trips. I'll be taking the truck to Colorado on Thursday and excited to see how the truck performs at elevation. And I'm pumped for you to get your gears

I know this truck can work and play like no other! I'll have to research the dynomat. Did you do it behind the doors or just undeanth the carpet? I usually have the metal dialed up to 11 so I really havent noticed the general X3s to much. My fiance may not appreciate Devildriver as much as I do so maybe the dynamat will be a good idea before our bigger trip in September...

So I did the inner and outer door skins and the back wall. Have yet to do the floors but even what I've done cut road noise by 70% with the added bonus of making the JBL sound system sound a whole lot better too. Well worth the time and money. I think the 36sqft box which is what I used comes in under 150 bucks and took me about 2.5 hours to install. And. The doors now make a very satisfying thud when they close.

Hmmmm any issues or need for new trim/body clips before install? Did you post any write ups on your build thread?

Nah. I didn't break any pulling the panels off. Install is super easy and I've even got the roller to apply it that you can borrow. No specific write up but it's a simple install. Just installing stickers basically. Just want to make sure the get the mat in all the contours

Made the annual trip to Hawley Lake and spent some quality time with good friends. I have a love hate relationship with this place. Beautiful scenery and weather but the designated camp area has basically become a long-term trailer park compete with its own drunk ass Mr. Lahey camp host. Still had good time and as always with some patience , determination and 4lo managed to find a nice secluded place to set up camp.

108 degrees in Phoenix and just a few hours north east it's 58 and foggy.

Caught way more mud bugs than trout this trip. Luckily they taste better than brown trout.

Not letting the steady rain/hail stop the party. And if your wondering YES, my poncho is real alpaca wool lol:D

I also rushed over to AZ diff specialist when I got home and officially ordered the nitro 4.88 R&Ps and full install kits. Hopefully I can drop the truck off soon:transformer:

It's a nice place but Im definatley bitter about all the long term trailer trash that have ruined camp grounds. A ton of "outdoor" couches and dip shits running construction generators all day so they can watch satellite TV. I think my camp neighbor got the point after the third time I turned his generator off :smack:. Its a great place to fish or rent a cabin but I'd camp down by black river or bonito creek.

    Lahey... Rent-a-cops...

Sorry to hear that the outdoors are being messed up in other locations as well. It's sad the number of places that are closed compared to when I was a kid here in the west...

It is sad and I'm absolutely dumbfounded how many adults need to to be told to pick up up after themselves or to not do things that should be an obvious common sense violation. People are a plague.
    Short rant today :luvya:

Added a back-up camera to the camper today. Actually it's intended to be more off a towing rear view mirror setup. For ease of use and simple install I used a license plate frame backup camera and a WIFI video tranmistter. The transmitter is rain proof and transmits 100 meters. I will say that even though I did get the transmitter working with My IPad the app does NOT support Android nougat as of right now. This was NOT made known when I bought it....

The camera and transmitter together only require about .5 mA so I just taped them into a rear tailight wiring. The taillight also holds the license plate mount so it worked out well.
    20170729_143107.jpg
The camera gets power from from the transmitter so just needed to splice and solder the transmitter wires into the taillight. I needed to use the voltmeter to figure this out. White = ground, black = running light, green = brake light.
    20170730_132420.jpg
Stuff all the wiring into the hole and mount the tail light assembly / license plate frame. Ya need butyl tape and rtv silicone on all 4 sides of the light housing to seal it up from moisture. I also had dremmel the top of the housing to make room for the transmitter wires. The transmitter is affixed with 3m outdoor double sided tape.
    20170730_180354.jpg
The Camera/Transmitter are turned here when either the marker lights or headlights are turned on. Trailer must be plugged in to the truck of course.
    20170730_181701.jpg
Voila it's working :proposetoast:. The iPad is held with the Hondo mount and and a RAM X-grip. Its kind of a cool system since anybody or any truck towing the trailer can just download the app and use the camera.
    20170730_145856.jpg

I ran out of time today but I also ordered one of these front facing Toyota emblem cameras and another tranmistter. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00P...ota+camera&dpPl=1&dpID=41JQFVk35AL&ref=plSrch
Diff gears should also be going in soon so I'll get the front camera taken care when I can.

Welp, gears will be here by the end of the week so dropping the truck off Thursday. Works out perfect since I'll be headed to Portland to visit some friends and won't miss my baby.

In the mean time the front camera is now operational. Should be a fun little tool for rough trails and since this one runs on the switch pro and wifi transmitter everything can be turned on and viewed from a wireless device making for a camp security camera complete with strobes. All I need now is a 30mm sentry gun :spy:
    20170731_182128.jpg 20170731_182158.jpg 20170731_182806.jpg
All buttons are now in use on the switch pro. No more mods I guess
