    I plan to put skid plates on at some point and I happened to be at the shop getting some wiring done. The muffler hangs low and moving it allows for a couple more inches of ground clearance.

    This is stock location of the drivers side pipe going across pinched in the middle and lower than cross bar;
    IMG_7294.jpg

    The well done reroute places it tucked up and no pinch (lil better flow)...
    so...either skid plate to protect hanging pipe or reroute?
    Depends on how aggressive you get when you OR?

    Had a set of 265/75/16 Falken Wildpeak AT3W's put on today. This morning I swapped both my diff's for Amsoil Severe 75-90 and threw in the Kicker tweeters.

    My tint appt is 2 weeks out and after that I'll be done for a good while.

    So, fun development. I'm just about finished with the bedrack here and we're noticing that the bed is shifted about 0.75" to the driver side....has anyone else noticed that? How big of an uphill battle am I looking at with getting Toyota to fix this for me?

    stuff and things...
    Took a fun camping trip a couple weeks ago with the wife in the grand Tetons. We drove from San Diego up to the campsite in one shot. Left about midnight monday morning and reached the site at about 7ish pm. Was a really nice drive and we went through a couple states that we haven't been through yet.

    Spent three nights camping in the grand Tetons instead of heading to Yellowstone because we knew it was going to be super crowded and the Tetons were super nice. and drove down to salt lake city to spend the weekend with some friends. It's pretty funny that we each have a former boss, that was pretty influential to us, living in SLC. Also, if anyone wants some of the best pastries, both savory and sweet, check out Bubble and Brown bakery. They sell at Three Pines Coffee shop and are at the farmers markets on the weekends, Chef Andrew is the best.

    We both ended up getting really sick while in SLC and we scrapped our plans to camp in Alta and Zion on the way back home. Left SLC around 6ish pm and rolled into home at 7am the next morning. Thought about stopping in vegas for a few days, but being sick and our host family in SLC gave us some killer homemade plum jam that wouldn't last unless frozen, we decided just to power through and head home.

    We noticed a weird sound coming from the taco while in SLC and it continued all the way home. Intermittently upon acceleration it would sound like tires breaking free and screeching. Obviously the tires weren't screeching but that's the best way I can describe it. Took it to the dealership yesterday and they've been looking at it. Tech couldn't recreate the issue so I took him for a test drive and the sound started, so they kept it overnight and were looking at it today. They called and said they couldn't see anything weird, and that they greased up some things. They ordered a new driveshaft and that they would install it when it came in to see if that was the issue.

    I'll post pics sometime when I upload them and figure them out.

    Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
    My dealer told me it can't be adjusted so I did it myself. Bed is easy. Enough play to fix alignment...but...once that's done then the bumper will be misaligned. That's kind of a pain. Some people have had good luck having the dealer fix the bed. Hope it goes well for you.

    Well, I haven't done it yet but I picked these up yesterday. Unfortunately, I don't think I'm going to get them on soon as I'm having surgery on my hand next Friday and will be at least 6 weeks in recovery. I have a couple of projects that need to be buttoned up at work before next Friday so I doubt I'll even be able to get them painted.

    Any thoughts on how to best keep them from rusting for a couple of months?
