What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Hopefully you used the standard 4-8 cans of plastiderp on it first or it will rust.

 

Did you use no wind noise caulking?

 

What light bar & Mount are you running?

 

its a 50" curved light bar with relentless mounts

 

It actually did start to rain, BUT I was already drying and spraying on the detail spray so I hauled it into the garage and didn't get the worst of the storm

 

Does anybody have experience with Helo wheels? Thinking my next big purchase will be a set of Helo he878s

Finally removed my broken factory headphone jack and replaced it with this usb / headphone jack. Pretty happy with it.

 

Thanks man! I've had spacers on previous cars and never had an issue.

Added the strip of tint on the windshield.

 

Have you ever though about tinting the turn signals in the side mirrors? I have...

 

Made an aluminum coated kevlar windshield cover. Lift the dot fasteners on the corners, backed it with 12oz army canvas. Really doesn't make sense to have those reflective covers inside the cabin, still makes a little oven up front.

 

I did that on my DD and it's awesome. It really cleans up the look. You could always derp them and achieve a similar look.

 

I have some derp in the garage that I've been waiting to try again. Just a light coat or two?

That's what I did on my old Scion TC. a couple coats and it looked uniform, yet let a little light through. On my Subaru I've got some tint overlays made for it, and it looks a lot better IMO.

How much pull do you need to get it off?

Those "lift the dot" snaps won't release except from one angle, you have to manipulate it to release. I guess it could blow off during a hurricane but not sure how. We shall see!
