I had an ionizer that plugged into the cigarette lighter in my car as a teenager about 15 years ago that was similar to this. I am convinced it did absolutely nothing. If it really works you would be able to smell the ozone since thats how it is supposed to work.

 

Now I know where the Prius got its looks

Hmmmmm... All I've seen is yes and no's about it working. No real comfirmation. But overall reviews say it's solid?

True story. I was ranting about Prius's (more specifically the people that drive them) to my mother-in-law who was in the passenger seat. While she was questioning my obviously baseless and stereotyping hatred... a Prius cut me off in traffic...

 

Sure it can.
