Yes. The first UCON was misfiring cyl # 2.

After pulling the Supercharger in a camp ground 30 miles from home and swapping parts around Gadget decided it was most likely the UCON that was causing the problem. The Taco went home on a flat bed.

He immediately shipped me a new UCON. I swapped it out and the misfire went away.

However, the truck was then running very rich. It seems that Toyota changed the fuel delivery map for the newer trucks.

Last night we did a remote tuning deal with sample runs. The software was updated and the truck is now running well.

I don't have my AFR gauge hooked up yet either. I could smell it and it would puff black smoke if I revved it.

Mine is 2014. UCON needs to be updated for sure. Too rich I've said it multiple times. I figured it was something to do with the newer trucks. My AFR gauges are pegged at 10 @ WOT but UCON data logs show WRAFs are reading 11. I used a DVOM on my LC-2 analog output and it got down to .48v. According to Innovate, 0.0v is 7.35:1. I did some rough calculations and .48v is around 9.4ish.

At lighter throttles my AFR gauges show 12.2ish and the UCON logs show around 13.

So the UCONs logic reading the WRAFs is off a decent amount. Scott said he had an update coming soon. Looks like @HolyHandGrenade was the test mule. Maybe I'll be hearing something soon too.

He probably doesn't need to keep a log. Anyone whose truck runs like mine is probably calling and emailing constantly looking for a solution.

I emailed Scott again and he confirmed he has an update for me. Working out scheduling.

I bet my 2013 will be rich too when I finally get it installed. I wonder if it would be easier to send it back and let them reprogram it. I believe they did the trd 2nd stage for me.

Is there a specific load for each truck? When I ordered my SC and EMS at the same time, Gadget didn't really seem concerned with anything I had done to the truck. I told him I was running the URD TCAI and that was about it as far as "performance" mods.

Should I be concerned of not getting the correct EMS load???? (everything in that UCON is black magic to me)

    LOL!

I would just install it and schedule a remote session to change software.

There are different tunes for different stages of mods I believe. Not sure what each stage consists of. I do know there a different tune for no cats to eliminate P0420/P0430 but beyond that I'm not aware.

Stage 2 for me as well. I was going to be stage 1 and then I bought the spec u long tubes and he put on the next stage. Stage 3 is deletion of all cats and can run the 7th injector and 2.7 or 2.55 pulley.
