If you're gonna tub, might as well do it to clear 35's. You don't want to do it twice.
Looks like you'll need to tub those nerf bars too :sawzall:

Lol I don't have a marlin clutch. I have a trail gear ceramic 6 puck clutch. I've abuse the living shit out if it during rock crawling because it doesn't heat up. It's also bite hard and drives nothing like stock.

The Marlin kit is great. It's stock oem parts with a stiffer pressure play to give it a better feel.

It's what I wanted but was out of stock for months when it was time for me to get a new one. The trail gear one has been working good. But not sure how much it has left.

Get rid if the nerf bars.

Just cut that lunch weld off and then take a sledge to the fire wall. No need to tub unless you want 35s and in that case you're in for a lot of work. Tubbing sucks.

No its ceramic. So it can take a lot more heat then a normal clutch. The 6 puck design makes it harder to drive with and the feel.

But the idea is that it can take more abuse and you can "ride" the clutch more. And honestly after have stock up Morrison and then this thing. It does just that. I can let the clutch out and have it hold the truck by itself no problems.

    01. Yours should be fine. Some of the earlier trucks require a frame extension if I recall correctly. 01 through 04 should be the same

Congrats on graduating! Lol I've broken both (also at a lake), it sucks pretty bad. Make sure you do all of the prescribed physical therapy. I lost some flexibility because I didn't do enough physical therapy.

Great looking engine bay, any tips?

Got a link for those boots? My stock ones have seen better days.

Thanks man. I used a 16 oz bottle of chemicalguys nonsense, and surf city garage Dash - away - covered all the electronics and spent about 10 hours cleaning it. Simplegreen will corrode aluminum and leave weird streaks on other finishes BTW. The boot is :

The Mishimoto ones are cheaper by a dollar, but no clamps, and I didn't look before I clicked it.
