So I always had what I thought was a very noticeable hum caused by the tires going down the road. However, today I noticed that when I turn left the noise goes away- at any speed. At first I thought maybe something is rubbing against the tires, but there's clearance. I removed the front mud guards, no difference. Generally, I don't mind the noise, but on trips longer than 20 minutes it begins to bug me. Any ideas?

Rotate the tires and see if it goes away or changes. Could be bad bearings...

I'm sure people more knowledgeable than me will chime it with suggestions.

I'd check pass side wheel bearings.

That sounds a bit like wheel bearings to me.

If the noise goes away when you swerve to the left, does it get slightly louder when you swerve to the right?

    NAILED IT !
    Loosey goosey front, right bearing.
Apparently, it's been bad the entire 5 years I've owned this truck. IDK how my ABS sensor survived, but it did.

    Thanks guys

Whisper quiet in the cab now. I was about to drop a small fortune on car audio sound deadening material to quiet it down in the cab, was ridiculous. This has made a huge improvement in my quality of life lol
