    I just traded my 2013 4X4 standard cab in on a 2017 V6 access cab 4X4.

Why no on 4x4? Tacomas and resale value are a good combo and I've always seen 4x4 being valued higher than 2wd.

It's something I'd rather have and use once, than not have and need.

A back step for when I get older, Carhartt seatcovers, 4Runner wheels, Topper, and "tats all folks"! --for now!!
As I have posted before -- I got my SR5 AC AT v6 4x4 w tow pkg. (that's all) for 30,750. There is no taxes included in this price, and there was no trade in.
Really nice lookin truck. The stock silver wheels look good on that color, any other color not so much.

I'd shoot for at least $4k off, depending on the model and options. I just got my 17 for $4k off msrp without even much haggling. Makes me think I could have gotten more off. Bottom line is they are willing to make deals so throw out a number you are good with and see if it sticks.
