All I'm saying is I work for a large retailer, and we have a team of 20+ customer service reps who only handle situations like this, and sometimes even they let things slip through the cracks even with a legit order tracking software infrastructure. CBI blew up recently, and if they're like any young company that's growing fast, they're understaffed and disorganized, with lack of infrastructure. They probably have someone at a desk ready to pick up the phone, but I doubt that desk jockey can see the build progress and come to the conclusion "there are 15 builds in front of yours that will take 300 hours before they can get to yours".

Not that I'm sticking up for them... but I can definitely see how disorganized things can get when your company is bred from a metal shop.

Yeah, I get it, it's always better to make someone feel like they matter, and you were definitely wronged. I think I'm just a little hesitant to accept your experience review because CBI makes some of the sickest front bumpers available. lol. Their T3 Bumper was on my wishlist, but I may consider Pelfrey now...

Curious to know the issue with the ARB bumpers. I was under the impression they are pretty meticulous about product QA. The only thing that leaves most of their gear off of my list is their price, but I am pretty sure that's due to their overhead.

No issue with quality... but put any ARB bumper side by side with what CBI offers in terms of looks, and it looks like you're comparing a Honda to a Mercedes.

Thanks for the info, I really wanted CBI bumpers but I have seen nothing but bad things about them since I've been on here.

:amen: Relentless has good looking bumpers, and I've had good customer experience with them.

CBI bumper/slider design is and has always been fucking garbage. They have a reputation in the 4Runner world of putting out an inferior product and not standing behind it when it fails. The talk about being a "small fab shop" doesnt apply to them, they aren't small by any means in relation to Relentless, Bruteforce, Pelfry, RCI, BAMF, DeMello ... I'd recommend each and everyone of those before i'd ever recommend a CBI product. I've owned products from pretty much everyone in the game and CBI is easily at the bottom of the list for companies i would ever work with again.
