    Drop light against the side of the console then rolled around while it's toughing to get the light in a better angle to see would do those on the side. I'm with you on the drop light.

    They appeared over about a month to a month and a half. Just a couple of marks at a time. A set of marks appeared while in the dealership for 2 days for electrical repairs. (those were the last set we had) One set of marks showed up after a drive, while in our driveway. Went for another drive 2 hours later and a new set was there. The others we don't know when they happened. Sometime between driving it, parking it and the next morning.

    I think we are going to go for it and try to take the console off and see what happens. I was worried about the warranty if we did. The dealership wouldn't take it off to look, I guess someone has to. I will post again once it is off. I want to lean towards heat reflection but I just can't find where it would come from. I have taken a flashlight at night trying to get the angle of the sun, nothing. My husband is disabled so he is home almost all the time as he doesn't work. We live in a very small town (1000 people) so there are no large buildings around to reflect off of. Lots of trees and a very short period of time we have any direct sun on the driveway. Tinted windows from new and nothing dangling in the window. :annoyed:

    When someone told me to post on here, they warned me about the way things can go. My husband is so not electronically inclined, I had to do it. Barely knows how to use his cell phone and never mind getting onto a computer. lol Everyone has been pretty good on here so far.
