    TRD Pro shift knob install.

TRD vs stock (all trims below Pro I imagine)

Installation is simple, the collar of the shift boot disconnects/snaps off and drops down, allowing you to twist off the shift knob
    [IMG]

Perfect match for my red/black interior

Like what you have done and good on you for sticking to a budget. I know soo many people that live outside their means and it's sad to watch them crumble.

OP, aesthetically you did a great job turning your SR5 into a TRDOR clone. That being said, I actually prefer the no-nonsense appearance of the SR / SR5 and the only part of the TRDOR I actually want is the e-locker 8.75" rear end.

You might as well have put TRD stickers.

I actually dig the SR5 stickers. OP did a really good job going for the look he wanted, I guess it's just not my thing. The Pro grill looks awesome though.

Full disclosure: I drive an SR... no flares, plain jane grill, no intermittent wipers, etc. If I could've gotten the TRDOR e-locker rear end without paying for a bunch of other shit I didn't want, I would've done it.

Did the OP disclose how much he paid for his truck plus all mods. Could have had the same look plus locker and MTS for the same price of a little bit more.

I will stay out of that one. It looks like he has his truck done up just the way he wants it, and he did a great job. It's just personally not my thing.

Is that an idea borrowed from Jeep? The Rubicon special editions have had red tow hooks since '13.

    Like, so many.
I think so. I've seen a lot of painted tow hooks on Jeeps and I think it's cool. I'm glad it's starting to catch on here too. I haven't seen another painted one in my town yet, but I keep an eye out.
