In my case it was a bad ecu. I was hoping for a faulty throttle body but that wasn't the case. Just thought I'd share my experience with a similar issue. I experienced this off and on for almost a month.

Yeah going on two months. I honestly don't know if I should just buy an ecu or call it good or let the dealer trouble shooot. Might be cheaper for me just to buy one

I hope you find the root of the issue. Nice rig btw. I'd imagine it would be cost-effective to purchase your own...I guess it depends on how comfortable and confident you are in the fix.

I ment buy it and have them install cause I don't want to pay them for trouble shooting when I know the issue lol

Btw did you also have a weird hesitation at around 2500-3000 rpm? When you didn't have the random throttle loss

Erratic idling, hesitation, and the occasional stall. Usually when the symptoms occurred I would only roll forward if it were a slight decline. At this point tapping the pedal did absolutely nothing. Wait 10 to 15 minutes and sometimes it would start and run normally, but I was always nervous to get into traffic.

Stopped doing it again I think it's a wiring issue I got mad and kicked the side panel where the wires run to the fuse box and hasn't done it sense lol

Fuel pump. I've been looking into this as I have a weird slight hesitation and random low idle/rough idle. Everyone that has solved their issue officially has come back with it being a fuel pump issue.

Easy to check too. Just throw a gauge and see what it sits at idle. Then data log and see what it's doing when you hit the hesitation. You'll find your issue.

my truck is having this same issue, runs great, idles fine, but random stumble / hesitation usually right after signal or stop sign, never at cruising speed. I figured it was a dirty throttle body??? 2007 4.0 4x4 auto 220k.

I cleaned my TB last night and it helped some. I think for all of our sake, start with the beginning signs. Ohm out sensors, check fuel pressure, and data log to see what's going on. I know I need to.
