    stuff and things...
After some extreme offroading!! We ran into some heavy rain that washed most of it off...

Napier bed tent. We're not too happy about the quality of the tent. I don't know why but it seems to hold moisture and is very wet in the mornings.

It was pretty easy to unhook the tent and slide it off when we wanted to go for a drive. Putting it back on was pretty simple, just be sure to take everything out first so the bottom settles into the bed properly:

This one is from a test run we did a week before our big trip. We couldn't drive onto our campsite so we decided to test the tent on the ground. It's got that cali lean, but it was perfectly level inside:

Also got a AirBedz mattress with the wheel well inserts which came in handy for putting it on the floor:

I thought I got some more pictures of our final set up, but I didn't. Because I put on a pace edwards jackrabbit tonneau, the AirBedz 6ft mattress no longer fit because the canister. Instead I had to order the mattress for the 5ft bed, which fit perfect and came with a separate piece to place on the tailgate. What I don't really like is the 6ft mattress seems like a better model than the 5ft one that has the built in inflater, but it doesn't come in 5ft length, weird.

Spray them down/coat them with oil(WD40 or oil in a spray bottle) and that should stop most of it but then it's gonna be a pain in the ass to get off once you wanna do anything with them.

I sent time on expoportal asking lots of questions and reading a lot. 150-300 watts was my target for draw. The hardest part was deciding what battery. I could have spent 3x more for a agm battery with the same ah. I figure if I killed these lead acid I can still but 4 more before hitting the price of a single 230ah 12v

Didn't ride any different, if anything, better. Too early to tell on fuel mileage as I only hand calculate at fill up.

This is along the lines that I was thinking. They are pretty oily already. However, I do have a sandblaster so I might just let it be then deal with whatever's there when I can get to it.

I feel old for asking this, but what is a suspension system for all the four corners I could get for a more 'comfy' ride? Something soft and plushy. I have no off-roading needs, but would like a 2" lift.
A year into driving my sport, and the stiff and bouncy ride is no longer comfortable to me, especially when it comes to long drives.

Try POR15 - that stuff is amazing.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did that cost?

I have a Line-X dealer 5 miles from me and may consider something like this.

Yes it is. I sandblasted the entire undercarriage and interior floors of my '69 bus and used POR15 on them. However, that is probably not the right tool for this job as it's designed to Paint Over Rust and this is clean steel. Besides that I asked about rust prevention because I'm not going to be able to paint them for at least several weeks.

You can buy truck Bed liner at the hardware store or auto parts store. I used plastidip to paint my pinch weld. Took me about 45 mins, the days newspaper, and some 2inch masking tape.

    Hey all,
I'm in the process of ordering all the parts I need for a blue sea fuse box install. I know there is a thread on here that someone made with detailed pictures and instructions for the install but I can't seem to find it right now. Could someone point me in the right direction?

    Thank you!
