Weeeelllll. Drinking coffee. The wife is in the bedroom watching TV in bed. Ima get dressed soon and load the truck to go camping tonight.

Same but no camping. Improv comedy at some tree hugging place tonight.

 

Just got home (before it got really hot)...3 hrs OT and the tire guy found 2 nails in the tire. I like driving my POV out there sometimes. It totally blends in (1st gen 4x4 Tacomas are all over down here) and the mismatched camper shell color just adds to it. So I catch people doing stupid shit I wouldn't ordinarily see if I were in my GOV.

 

Wife afraid of rain. Been whining for days about it. No camping.

 

Those stupid little cloud bursts just come out of nowhere. It rained here for about 10 minutes lastnight and the nearest cloud was a few miles away.

 

Back to hot and dry, I can deal with dry heat. Fck the humidity

 

We're still hot and wet. Yesterday was total swamp-ass. Hopefully it blows out. Those little thunder heads are still around.

 

I can make firewood real good....

 

Pull the apples off, stake it up, trim it back, lots of mulch and water and she might make it. As long as some roots are still left and not supporting a crop - worth a shot if you want to try. There's a tree down the street that fell over and it's still alive and growing a year later.

 

Finished adding an outlet for the gas fireplace insert. Reaching into the back top of the firebox to drill into the masonry was great for the shoulders. Thankfully the plumber that ran the gas line drilled an extra hole for me to run the wire. Everything is now all set for them to install the unit.

 

I just have a picture of a fireplace on the wall. My ac stays set at 75 all year.

Went for a quick ride and put some fresh fuel in the tank.
Runs nice considering I haven't driven it in quite a while.
