    Nice SCS wheels man!

    I've always liked the F-5.

Can I see a picture looking down the side as I want to see the offset of those wheels?

And lastly how dark is your tint?

Thanks dude! I'm down, I am stock except for 265/75R16 Cooper AT3s and Pelfreybilt aluminum skids, so I definitely can't follow you everywhere!

Thanks! Here is one right down the side of the truck that I took right after I got the wheels, and here is another one that isn't quite the same angle but shows a little better perspective from a distance. These are the 16x8 4.5" BS / 0 offset. I think the 0 offset with the lack of fender flares looks perfect. In fact, whenever I see a TRD with flares and positive offset stock wheels it just looks kinda silly to me.

Regarding the tint... no idea, sorry. I actually expected the truck to come un-tinted, but when I picked it up at Earnhardt I was pleasantly surprised to find tinted windows. I'm not sure whether the dealer had it done or if it was a port installation.

Alright gang! I gotta ask this...

Anyone feeling regret from not getting the SR5?

I'm trying to convince myself to maybe step up but am on the edge.

Any input or thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated. I'm looking at the DCSB 4x4 V6.

On one hand the next truck we get I need to keep for absolutely as long as I possibly can! For real, so I'm wondering over the years if the flares would rub through paint, if the MID would crap out after say 100K or higher mileage.

I'm going to run a ScanGuageII to track MPG and watch coolant and trans temps so that works.

Im planning on replacing the radio with a nicer Entune unit to have XM and such. Don't care to much for GPS and Nav but it might be an option.

Would hopefully get 265s right off the get go and after one season then get some aluminum rims. Or maybe even 17s who knows.

Fogs would be added by me also, maybe some Rigid or Baja Designs units designed to be there.

Anyways, let me now what led you down the path or your SR.

The 5 added nothing useful to me. In fact, a lot of the sr5's aren't even sr5's. I, in fact, have a true sr5. Sr utility is just neat for what it is. It's a glock you can drive.

Which part? You cannot actually drive a gun.

    Unless it's a tank.

You talkin about sr5's not being sr5's? Unless you got a 5 speed tranny Behind the engine of that Sport Rally 5, it ain't an sr5. It just says it is.

    Black..

I stepped up to the SR5 because it has digital odometer, black interior, factory tinted back windows, alloy wheels. Probably a couple more things I cannot think of at the moment.

I regret buying Sr. No offence it great truck just to slow with the 2.7 4 cylinder. I traded it in and got 2017 Tacoma limited and I haven't look back. Just wish I could got limited without all the chrome on it.

I've technically got an SR but it's the V6 4x4 DCSB with convenience, towing, and everything else. Only difference is the cosmetic stuff on the SR5 that I don't have...fender flares and such.

Don't regret it but hunting down fender flares and things like that can be a pain in the ass.

I personally have no regrets. The SR5 interior is definitely a step up from the SR, but the SR5 offered no performance benefits over my SR V6 4X4 AT with convenience and tow package. If I was going to pay any more for my truck, I would've sprung for the TRDOR and gotten the benefits of the beefier e-locker rear end.

    I hear ya,

Also the TRD trucks get the sliding rear window and black headliner, as well as other extras.

True, they get a lot of additional interior benefits, but I personally wasn't willing to pay for them. My SR interior is significantly nicer than that of my previous vehicle and I personally like the utilitarian look versus the direction Toyota took with the TRDs. The only thing that bugs me about the SR is the lack of intermittent windshield wipers, but I live in Phoenix and it doesn't rain a ton, so I rarely have to deal with it anyway.
