Just putting this out there to see what everyone's opinion is on the best muddin combination that's rugged and can stand up to a beating. Like Lift's(brand names, inches...etc) Tires, armor and everthing else

Hmm...well, that'd depend on your driving style, how thick the mud is, and what the terrain is like.

Just get out there and go muddin (with some friends). Don't go alone. Carry tow straps, cell phone, etc. After a few trips to your normal stomping grounds, you'll soon learn what you'll need for the type of muddin/terrain you're driving in.

Well, I love and HATE mud.

I went mudding in my pretty much stock Taco a few weeks ago, I only have 265/75/16 Mud tires. I bottomed out a few times, But I hit the mud holes at a pretty fast rate of speed. I also pulled out my friend in my pretty much stock 2.7 4x4. here is a few pics.

Carry Truck chains for like snow. They work quite well for mud, snow, and even rock. I have been using them since I started driving for numerous occasions offroad. You would be surprised what chains can get you thru.
You just want to make sure they are tight and that you have the rubber bungees to keep them tight. Keep a pair of channel locks to help tighten them and if you dont have bungees, rope will do. I learned this from Logging, most of the heavy skidders run them up in the mountains when it is really wet.
