    A lot of people are just superstitious when they gamble. So since the card are all flipped over. If you get a card and not pass. Next guy will get mad cause you at 17 and still got a card. The card he needed. Did he know what card was coming Next? No. Just the fact that he saw it.

    If you want to get real into blackjack. YouTube card counting blackjack. Those guys can tell if the next card us going to be a high numbe r or low number.

    Basically how the people in front of you on the table play dictates what hands you get. If they follow the "rules" and hit when they should and stay when they should then it increases the odds for the entire table to play better. If you have some guy hitting on 18 then he's taking cards that would have gone to other players and changing the odds of the table. When I play Blackjack I like to be in the first seat so I can control my hand better.
