I've been driving my truck all afternoon here and there. Seems that everything is ironed out.

No sign of P219a/b. No other CELs pending. The real test is just driving it for a few days and making sure no other DTCs are set.

So is the power there like it should be now that things are leaned out? This is all good news.

Imagine if Toyota found out that they could fix that check engine light with a tune update, rather than replacing the head or heads.

Yes. Truck feels responsive and I can modulate how much go I want with the throttle pedal. With the TRD flash, at part throttle the fuel enrichment didn't start until you had 3-5 psi of boost. So in normal acceleration you could be running around at 14.7 AFR with 5lb of boost. The UCON starts adding fuel when its supposed to.

I think the stock headers/cats/y-pipe/exhaust are holding up the show though. Need to increase the breathing capacity next.

Oh man this is great news! Again, thanks for being the frontman on all of the tweaking. I have all sorts of intake mods installed and now I want to work on the exhaust side and then get the 7th and either 2.7 or 2.55 pulley. And definitely the itb tranny mod. I agree, the exhaust is holding things up!

Haha, it is kind of you to say that, but I'm no frontman. There are probably many others that got into the boat ahead of me and are likely going through the same motions.

Anybody had issues with the ucon and PC communicating so Scott can't help you? I'm gonna have to pull my ucon to change out the cable. It's just a huge PITA due to custom mounting and the cage.

One guy had issues installing the software to his laptop but I haven't heard of anyone having comm issues. Can you not reach behind the UCON to replace the usb cable? I know there's not a whole lot of room but you may be able to reach it.

I can reach mine by feel. But he said he has a custom cage and the ECU/UCON is a bitch to get to due to that. I think he was hoping to find a software solution vs having to remove. Sucks, but doing the work might be necessary.
