UPDATE: I updated the design since I decided to sell these myself on my wife's Etsy and eBay shops. The updated design is easier to apply and a better fit overall. The direct links to purchase can be found in our marketplace thread...

    Original Post:
So I v been playing with an idea for a while, I drafted something in CAD and chopped it on my wife's cricket. I hated the look of the wheels with the silver on them and if you don't black out the whole wheel with plasti dip it will peel and look crappy! I also liked the gun metal part and wanted something reversible to where if I don't like it i can go back to original!
This still a design and test phase not quite the perfect fit and i ended up with some bubbles since the only other vinyl I played with was for the tailgate letters I made.
Let me know what you guys think or any thoughts and idea's:

How hard was the install? I imagine that thin line around the outer edge was a PITA.

Thats the part that I need to fix it's not wide enough there is a thin line of silver still showing and a little long as well so it overlaps maybe 1/4 of an inch! Other then that the first couple I did got some bubbles on the maybe I need to use sope water!

Very cool idea! Use some quality vinyl that's UV rated and as long as you clean the rim off good they should hold up

Will do! If my wife wanna do the cutting and packaging and the customer service which she probably suck at and make her some money then it's possible. Otherwise hunting season about to start and between the ducks, deer, fish, kids and work I don't have the time!

    Nice work man.

Where did you get the Tacoma font for the tailgate letters? I tried with my mom's Cricut and it turned out like crap.

If anyone ends up selling these I'm interested. I am looking at adding a lift and tire package to my Tacoma. The dealership wants me to do Wheels as well, but I don't care for the gloss black TRD wheels, and I'm not sure if I can get the old matte wheels. Plus I don't see any reason to pay for a new set of wheels when these do the job. But eventually I want to black out all my chrome, and this would help.
