Ima going to make this thread for specifically long travel third gens... not arguing about this and that! So feel free to post up your LT rig! Mine is the total chaos +2 kit with king shocks specifically for that kit. Curious to see what all fenders and tires everyone is running!

Did you have to order a specific sized shock for this setup? I'm looking online and want to make sure I'm getting the right setup

To preform at the kits fullest you must run the specific shocks for that kit. What was the part number you were looking at getting? @Khisaw

@Khisaw im sure you could run those with this kit... the shock travel on that specific shock is made for factory suspension. So if you call king they will tell you that UCA's are not needed with those coilovers. Where as with the shocks that I'm running only work with my specific kit. Plus I paid less than that for my kings that I'm running with this kit!

@Khisaw i got them form off-road warehouse. The cheapiest place I found and you have to call and ask for them as it's a special order item. And my clearance is close... on road I don't rub even as full lock. But off road I rub pretty bad. I'm also running 255/85r16, so the way I look at it is if I mess up my fender I can have an excuse for fiberglass! And if I gash my tire open I have an excuse for wider and taller tires!

@trd_overland no I did not I wanted to see how well stock held up first. And so far so good!

Would love an LT setup but can not in anyway justify spending $3000 on just UCA and LCA

@JoeCOVA I spend $2500 on king shocks and then was not satisfied, and wished I just went long travel in the first place.

This doesn't happen often. Why didnt you like them, the type of wheeling you do? Were they the OEM bolt-ons or a mid-travel?

@JoeCOVA they we're OEM. And a little of everything from trail riding to blasting through the sand. If it's off road I wanted to be able to do it.

As far as why I didn't like them is because the bottomed out to quick and had no travel. The ride was also no comparison to my ride now.
