So I've been looking up new bump stops and have been hearing good and bad things about Wheelers and Timbren's. Currently I am running stock bump stops and looks like I wont be getting the Timbren's as the price range is way to high at this point in time. Are there really as many problems with the super bump stops as people are saying there are? Will I need to add spacers? Is the upgrade worth it? Thanks for your help guys.

    A few things
I have the super bumps with no problems, highly recommend them. As far as bump spacers, that depends on your shock length.

I'm using old man emu suspension. People have said that they have destroyed shock towers due to the fact that the bump stops are too soft and bottom out. Someone mentioned using spacers to get them a little longer to keep them from doing that. But not sure if the company is using better rubber now and if I should worry about it or not? I am hearing mostly good about them thought.

They do squish down smaller than stock bump stops. I can't speak to the OME shocks, but I have 1/4" spacers on my 5100s and I've had all 4 wheels off the ground a couple times. It felt like I landed on a cloud. The stock bumps were jarring and felt like I destroyed the suspension when I did that shit.

The spacers can't hurt any. Better safe than sorry.

Installed a set in April with AP flip kit, Wheeler's 3 leaf AAL and 5100's. Have bottomed it out on many occasions and they feel nice and cushy every time.

A few additions to make me feel cool.
I have wheelers super bump stops and have had zero problems. I run OME with 886 coils and plate bumpers and winch with dakar leaf pack. Get em!

Thanks everybody. From all the good advice I've heard on here I think I'll give them a try. Definitely like the idea of it feeling like I've landed on a cloud!
