They do make that exact truck but it is not sold in the U.S. You have to go north of the border and bring one back.

Yup, and it does meet US DOT specs, but there might be other hurdles. We kinda covered it here

I am looking at purchasing a 2017 Tacoma limited, however I am curious if the 2018s will have an option other than the hickory brown interior. Does anyone know if they will add other leather interior colors?

This is me exactly. Same height and weight. When I test drove a Taco, I felt like I wanted to sit just a bit higher. I was in a Limited and reached down to adjust. Hm...no power. Well that's kind of odd for the Limited trim. Well, I guess I'll have to manually adjust the height. What! No manual adjustment either?

Crazy that manual adjustment isn't even an option.

Does anyone know if it is possible to put some 4Runner seats in without a lot of modding?

Ok, but from my perspective these trucks are already very expensive.

People with means can have lots of their wants satisfied, but at the end of the day, a pickup truck is a vehicle designed to assist hauling goods. It has morphed into something else.

I really don't understand the whole "limited" concept, but do agree if you go down that road, you should offer adjustable seats, like most "luxury" vehicles offer.

I also believe, that if you offer "TRD" which implies "racing" you should offer a turbo or 8 cylinder option.

I think it is funny that my more basic SR5 has the same engine and transmission as the TRD's and PRO. Hood scoops and rear lockers do not add horsepower, but I have heard a rumour the TRD decals do....lol

I'm 5'10 ~170, and I find the seat size to be fine. I just think they're uncomfortable.

On roadtrips, I can barely walk by the time I get out of the truck. Feels almost like I spent hours sitting on concrete. lol

6'-4" and 210lbs, these seats are fine. Long trips, I stop occasionally to stretch.
I am also not too particular about these matters in general, fwiw

Both in addition to the limited. We'll see pretty soon if the rumor is true when they officially release the press.

This seems to be biggest thing in all the reviews they give. Don't get why they don't fix this issue

It's not just the Taco, either. The seat in my Rav4 loaner has the same issue. The seating surface is just flat and rock hard.

We have a 2015 Rav4 XLE and the seats are comfortable. We made a trip to Dallas, which is about a 3 hour drive, did what we needed to do there, and back that evening, and I was not sore at all. With my back problems that is amazing.

Oh don't get me wrong, it's more comfortable than my Tacoma's seats, but they aren't what I'd consider good, either. They do have seat height adjustment, though! lol

Totally agree, I'm 6'1" and 180lbs and could not get comfortable in my Tacoma seats. not sure what it is exactly it feels like I'm sitting on the floor and the steering wheel is too far away for me. Height adjustment would help but not necessarily power seats I don't care about that , but just getting this manual seat in the correct position is impossible for me. My 15 4runner seats and seating position are completely different . It does have a power seat but the seating position and the overall style of driving is just way more comfortable and natural.

Speaking of uncomfortable seats... I'll bet those seats in a Ford Probe were really uncomfortable.

    Disturbing name for a car.
