Any member heading north I5 today through So. Oregon?

Driving from So Cal to So Oregon, seen an Inferno Red with CA plates, blacked TACOMA lettering on tailgate, little orange sticker on back window, drivers side?. Was it any of you members? This was Saturday 8/5/17 roughly 4 to 5 pm. You (and myself) were passing each other from about Grants Pass to Roseburg where I got off of the freeway.

Beautiful truck man! Just beautiful. You certainly didn't have any issues aggressively navigating through the steep, very windy section of I5. You were passing other vehicles with ease, no power issues there! I wasn't in my Tacoma but held back a bit just to checkout your truck. Yours was the 9th 3rd gen I had seen on this 800 mile trip that I've made 8 times since January. (My mom has been fighting cancer and it finally won two weeks ago).

If it was a member, I just want to say hello and tell you your truck looks great.

Sorry to hear about your mom, I lost my dad two weeks ago too, and I know this my sound weird to some but messing around with my Taco and reading this forum helped deal with the loss.

 

There's a shit ton of 3rd gens in Oregon, I always see a bunch in bend and southern Oregon.

Bend is like it's own little world. And I've made this trip so many times in the last several months, I have seen more 3rd gens in Oregon than So Cal....yeah I'm sure there are thousands of more in So Cal just because of the population difference. But some catch your eye a little more. And this inferno was looking pretty good going down the road keeping right up with all the other drivers who lets justvsay, don't just stay at 65mph.

Those passes are a pain in the ass. If it's not a minivan squatting in the fast lane it's an elephant race up the hill at 25mph.
