To get in the main lot you have to get there by 5:30-6am. Once you're in, you better be prepared to hang around until everyone starts clearing out by 8:30. If you don't get in before the initial rush, they get very selective about what they let in. My red car never makes the cut. I have to sneak in when I'm rolling with the Supra group.

There's also a Cowtown Cars & Coffee at TMS the 3rd Saturday of everything month. That would probably be the better one for the Taco group to show up at. Ft Worth doesn't get near as many supercars, but it's a more relaxed environment. I used to go when they had it at Montgomery Plaza or the football stadium near Will Rogers but not since it's been at TMS.

I wonder if i could make the cut. I need more lights probably.... haha

But damn that is early! 6am!? I would def need coffee that early. But i would be good to chill for a couple hours and watch other rides roll in. Looks like a huge turnout!

Yeah not worth it at all! But it would all be under warranty for a few years! Get that bumper to bumper coverage and have some fun!

It really should be tuned in an open area with nothing nearby like power lines, trees etc. I could only get mine tuned to about 1.7 but it seems to receive a couple miles out.

Car and Coffee in Plano is a shit show... Nobody I know bothers with it any more after we all tried to go one day in our vette's and we were all turned away. Then when we walked around and saw beat up honda's, stock bull shit, etc... one of my buddies who knows one of the promoters went and had words with him...

Cars and Coffee at TMS is much smaller, but overall a better time. Usually some pretty good cars there, but no exotics. The amount of rice is pretty low.

It sounds like you need to get there early to get it. Other wise you are turned away......

It probably too early for a meet & drink, plus it get in the way of Tacos and Tacos! haha.

I quit going to them a long time ago after somebody shit talked my brothers 78 Camaro literally 5ft away from me almost got kick out. Yea it wasn't the nicest car but we put a lot of hard work into together and meant a lot to me and my brother. That's the day I stopped going to car meets in general no respect, guy was obligated to his opinion but not in front of me. 7 years later still have that car. My brother and his wife included it in their engagement photos last year. IMG_9073.jpg

Anyone in the area have a single mid-height or taller bed bar they can loan me for a few weeks end of August / early Sept? Will be on a 12 day trip through AZ/UT and planning to sleep in the truck bed as much as possible and rigging up a rain fly. I'd like to increase the headroom height down at the tailgate end somehow and a bar would be the easiest if it's tall enough.

@Naveronski - will you be at the meetup this morning?
