Hi! Great question and I will be honest I do not have the specs, they are solid and I'm sure the filling plate will add weight but I need it for my kid.

Pricing is all on how you customize them they will work with you on the pricing and I tell you. I will PM you with more details.

Hmm I've got some rust stains on the plastic side rails that rest on the bed sides. I've tried scrubbing them off without success but maybe this stuff would help.

Technically, everything I do is a minor mod. Except crashing into an F350, which counts as repairs even though we didn't return it to stock appearance.
    So yeah, minor mods :anonymous:;)

I don't know about removing stains with this. Haven't tried it myself. There are some trim restorers that have some black dye in them that might cover it up.

Here are some pictures of the fit. Couldn't have been easier. 1 2x6x10 and a full size set of comfy slats. I cut the slats right at the end of my bed and made the extra foot of excess it's own system. The 2x2's running across are what I added to screw the 2 pieces together. It's also way lighter than a full plywood sheet setup. Now just got to figure out the drawers.:pccoffee:

Got my drivers side armrest and door grab wrapped in synthetic leather and painted my switch plate with rustoleum contractor grade epoxy paint. I think I'm going to top coat it in matte though. Nothing else in the truck is glossy. Didn't actually mean to spray it glossy but that's the can I grabbed from my paint shelf. Oops. Hard to tell until it's dry and without the caps on the cans are the same. Doh!

Those look like Ikea slats, did you have to narrow them at all to get the fit right? Looks perfect, what size bed slats did you buy originally? Full?

Chipping away at the small affordable mods. Finished up the DRL mod using the wire hardness and relay. Also moved my raptor style grille up closer and that turned out much better than I thought. Ordered a new grille from rockauto to take apart and paint to match red with the truck and perform the raptor mod again but executed better the second time around and will probably do trex2 eyelids with it. Will be a couple momth out for those though when the weather cools off. Before and after pics posted.

I've heard of people having the paint chip on when painting over chrome, so it may be a good idea to strip it off. This is the method I'm going to try when I paint mine.

Oh yeah it's not chrome. The one I bought off rockauto is all black. But if you didn't want to buy a new grille I used super clean brand degreaser to strip the chrome off my headlight reflector bowls and shrouds when I did the morimoto projector mod. It would probably work on the grille too. But 35 bucks for a grille isn't back to experiment on hahaha and come to think of it I used partsgeek because shipping was only 10 bucks but rockauto wanted almost 30. So yeah I used partsgeek. Attached is the pic of the grille I bought to use.
