muffler offset question???

    TRD cold air intake, Bilstein 5100's @ 2.5, Toytec 1.5" aal w/rear bilsteins. MBRP tip, Flowmaster Delta Flow 50 series, Toytec axle shims and carrier bearing drop.
    i am going to order a muffler and i believe i need 2.5 inch inlet and outlet. But i dont know if both ends need to be centered or one side offset or what can anyone help me out???

    If you want to use original plumbing, you'll need to look & measure what you currently have (sorry, my 08 is a 2TR) & look specs on what you want to get to match plumbing.. If you don't mind a shop cutting & fitting some pipe, get what you want..

    An offset is supposed to be a bit quieter than a straight-through.. Longer/bigger body gives deeper tone.

    there is actually a lot of play in the exhaust system. the best fit is probably center in and offset out (or the other way around), but you can get away with center, center, or offset, offset as well. keep in mind that you will need about a foot or extra pipe (give or take) to clamp or weld in because the aftermarket mufflers are usually shorter than stock.
