What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I did the 30k spark plug switch today. Used the NKG Laser Iridium ones. I can feel the speed...lol

So how many times have you eaten food off of your engine, because it actually looks like you could.

 

I figured you would get colder air by using the fan to force air in and through the ice. I may have to make one of these.

That's going to cause a lot of wind drag. Are you installing a RTT in the near future?

Yea, but you can at least dampen a winch line it's a little harder for a chain. I do hear what you're saying though.

 

Returned to Stock mode:
-replaced the pro grille
-replaced towing mirrors
-replaced pop n lock
-replaced aftermarket hvac knobs

 

Ok, more like a week... but I was trying to get the dip off my wheels to paint them and after a couple hours on the first wheel, I gave up.
So....I shaved all badges, add raceline raptor wheels, add lund side steps, add rough country bull bar, add spyder fog lights and clean the dip of front emblem.

 

Installed Red decals on the AJT key Fob.

Rebuilt her starter with new contacts and plunger. Hopefully the intermittent no start/click is fixed now.

What a pain to get to those bolts... if anyone is thinking of doing the same, you will need a few 12" 1/2 extensions and some u joints with an impact gun. Once you get the arrangement figured out, it's not too bad.

 

I did my first A/T fluid change on this vehicle, mileage is just under 168K. Should have done it 100,000 miles ago.

Fluid was dark, but it still had a slight reddish tint to it.

 

Took it offroading. Probably for the first time in its life. With the PO it spent most of its time in the city being not being used properly.

Nowhere near as crazy as what some of y'all do, but still cool to get it dirty
