Once my panel arrives next week I need to go see how much they want to powdercoat it. If I can get it done for under $100 I'll do it. I've never had anything coated before except for a customers custom longtube headers so I have no clue on how they price out coatings jobs.

If it's relatively cheap I will pull off my bed stiffeners, blast the rattle can off in our sand blaster and have those done too

For me to want something like that powdered, it would have to be under $50.

Riz was saying that if you have a few items that all need done same color, it's cheaper to do them together so I'll find out next week and report back on that! The coating place is just a few minutes down the road from me but I will need parts in hand for an exact price

Well since I will be having the aux panel powdercoated I decided to have the bed stiffeners done as well. Our sandblast cabinet was having issues today so I used aircraft paint stripper to remove the rattlecan and hit it with a wire wheel to get the prep work done

Ya after the paint stripper, there were just some small spots left so it was a wire wheel brush attachment that was in the electric drill, cleaned it right up! That way I don't have to pay the coating place for prep work labor lol
