Started the process of pulling out all the interior to sound deaden, running Stinger 0/1 gauge power cable, and all new Stinger speaker wires. I'll be running larger Stinger speaker wiring to the front door speakers rather than using the small factory speaker wires. Purchased my sound dampening tiles from Second Skin. Then will use closed cell foam and MLV.

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
I just finished doing the same thing but used dynamat xtreme and Dynaliner. Long tedious work but worth it. Did everything but roof. Good luck.

The ORs have the Bilsteins 4600s stock, and those are essentially the same as the 5100s with a different envelope and adjustability available in the 5100s. The 4600s are an improvement over the Hitachis. So what you're saying is the 5100s are better than the 4600s. Imagine then when you compare them with the Hitachis. Either one of the Bilsteins is much smoother than the Hitachis in the first 1-2" of travel, and that translates to a significantly less jittery ride.

The mall crawler went to Cleghorn in Socal today with another 3rd gen w Kings, stock TRD Pro 4runner and my friend's Wrangler that he just lifted.
Took my 2 sons and they had a blast.

I learned to several things of not to do especially being a manual.

No major mishaps so it was a good day.

    Nice, big improvement overall?

I was able to put the dampening tiles in the two passenger doors and when I closed the doors you could hear how solid they now were.

I haven't decided if I want to tackle removing the headliner or not. Any particular reason you didn't?

Did you take out the whole center console or just work around it?

Quite a bit of improvement. I took out all the plastic of the center console to remove the carpet. Left alk the mechanical parts. Didn't do the roof since 1/3 is glass and not much road noise goes through the roof.

Not to rub salt in a wound but it was 1.95 two days ago. Kinda makes up for having to deal with the heat and humidity.

I just watched your video - Looks like you solved the clearance issue with the Ko2s. Is the clearance problem only with the Borla? I still have my stock exhaust. Thx
