    I think that only helps you if a cop was the one on trial, or the crime was against a cop. At least when I was there when someone mentioned that, the judge got irritated and told them to sit back down and told everyone to only bring things up that are directly relevant.

    I did figure out that going a day early helps. I did it by accident and the guy told me it happens all the time and I could go home and come back tomorrow or he could put me in for that day. I had number 3, ended up with a number in the high 20s. They start from lowest to highest and only made it up to about 12 that day.

    The case was against some guy who got arrested for a DUI while he had a 12-year-old with him. Probably for the best, as that's not a case I'd have an easy time being impartial on.
