This is a crazy longshot, but does anyone have a 225/60r16 tire sitting around that they don't need? Trying to avoid buying a new tire for a car that we're hopefully trading in soon. Gonna check the local tire shops, too.

Waited around for like 20 minutes to give report to someone so I didn't get to leave the hospital until like 8. But now I'm knocking out...

Does anyone feel strongly one way or another about UCA brands? SPC vs Total Chaos?

Whew. Heard back from the guy who did the work. He keeps the number I have off on the weekends as he isn't open.

That's a relief. He knows where its at and the manager just as well as I do. Looks like this will have a happy ending after all. Fingers crossed.

I have had both. For simplicity's sake the TC are light years easier to get your truck aligned. Folks like to argue about doing the work to get SPC's set straight since it is beyond what it had OEM wise. Other than that its just preference. Ball Joint vs Uniball.

It was a shop. It's at a different shop now though. I will have the current shop perform the repairs, much larger company and much more consequence if they screw it up. I don't want the original party to work on it any more. I am requesting only OEM parts be put on and everything documented. So far original folks are complying.

Yeah, so far what I could see is that the sway bar end link came loose, got hung up in between the CV and the outer tie rod. Axle boot got destroyed.

I don't know, those JBAs look pretty sharp, and are almost half the price of ICON.
