    Disregard I figured it out

    Cold hammer forged

At one point FN made both the CHF and premium barrels, but they no longer do. PSA bought a barrel factory a year or 2 ago. From what I was told by FN guys, FN has not supplied anything to them in some time

I think that's what PSA calls the FN barrels CHF = cold hammer forged and they are cleaning out retailing stock it looks like.

I had one issue with Freedom Munitions. Take a look at an ejected round and you can see a weird ring inside the brass. I'm confident that is what caused my cases to separate and get stuck in my chamber. This was only in my ar9 sbr but it's also the only Brand of ammo I have had trouble with.

I've run a couple hundred rounds of 9mm new and reloads from them and about 100 rounds of new 223. Didn't have any issues with it personally.

I feel that, they just seem to multiply around here. Who am I to complain though :D

You mean kind of like the steel but plates on the Mosin-Nagant! It was designed with the same exact thought process. That's why everybody hates to shoot it

I actually enjoy shooting my Mosin. Kicks less than my 03-A3. Not nearly as accurate, though, so it's much less rewarding, lol.

Yeah, they're both shoulder thumpers. I don't really notice it anymore, but friends of mine who don't usually shoot anything bigger than a .270 usually come away sore.

Edit- The only thing I've ever shot that I found downright unpleasant to run a box through was my uncle's 7mm RUM. By the time I was done with that thing I felt like somebody had gone over my shoulder with a 28oz framing hammer.

I put mine in an Archangel stock and greatly fixed that problem! and now it box fed also. Added a Timmny trigger fixed the (37#) trigger that was there.

The Timmny trigger was the single most change for the plus in that set up, I liked the stock a lot, I ended up shortening the barrel 5 1/2 inches and threading it and putting a break on it. Made for a really sexy set up, I ended up selling it for $650
