Nice work. Started cutting out the hole for my switch panel yesterday. How are you wiring the illumination circuit? Looks like maybe in a series? Going to run to your dimmer circuit?

Sweet! At least it made it a week.

Now I need to go and see if the first one we made is still there.

I finally got the wife talked into a camping trip! :drunk:
Is anyone willing to loan me an rtt with an annex from the 18th-20th? I'd like to test one out before I drop the monies on one and the wife is interested in one with the annex. I know a lot of people say they don't like them, but if it helps get her out I don't care about it being a pain to setup.
Of course I also hope my Prinsu rack ships this week like I was told it would so I have something mount it on. :frusty:

Does anyone take their skid plates off after wheeling season to save some weight? Is there some good reason to keep them on in the winter that I may not have thought of?

I've got the switches wired and mounted. I worked on fabricating a bracket for the RTMR only to realize it won't fit where I want it to. Time to relocate my winch solenoid, again, and then fab another bracket for the fuse block. Nothing ever comes easy.

Local mechanic who swapped the wheels on the sequoia had the lugs torqued down to about 200ft lbs and cross threaded a lug nut. Ended up snapping the stud removing it. Why can't people do easy jobs right!?

    Yes.
I think we were off buying beer and tires. while bench construction was underway.

I just used my annex for the first time this weekend while camping with my lady. It was totally worth the effort of setting it up and taking the down.

We used it a ton to get away from the bugs, as well as a place to hide from the rain. It also works well for dry gear storage as well as a changing room to keep the tent itself uncluttered.

Storage wise, I'm able to keep my Teton queen size sleeping bag in the tent, and then store the folded up annex/floor and some blankets behind the ladder under the tent cover. Works flawlessly.
