Im not sure. I have standard travel, 700lb springs, and the remote reservoir. I know the next stage has CDC to control the dampening

Saw someone in Manassas over the weekend, black with a snorkel right off 234 near 66. I think I saw the same truck Sunday too.

 

I see a lot of nice / lifted Tacomas, but no one ever notices a stock Tacoma giving them a thumbs up lol

 

Not gonna find that same culture that jeep drivers have.

Generally speaking Tacoma guys are terrible about returning waves/thumbs up. What's the deal fellas? Let's be friendly out there!

 

Keep in mind, Icon is DIGRESSIVE and King is PROGRESSIVE. Not the same type of suspension. I recommend seeking out @fatfurious2 if you are interested in them as he has the mac-daddy set up on his. I know some others who have kings if you are interested...

 

I gave a thumbs up to a dope ass FJ this weekend... retrofits, lift, winch, recovery boards, roof rack, etc...

I think the issue is that it can be embarrassing to throw out a shout to a stock taco guy as many times they are just a normal guy not looking for it. It might be hard to understand as we are forum peeps and have a lot of pride in our trucks regardless of builds, I cant say the average dude has the same outlook on his ride. Many contactors and such roll in tacomas and might even view it as strictly an A-B commuter.

This is atleast my take on it as I assume some grandpa likely doesn't even know he is on my radar due to his truck.

Yeah that's why I'm with @Me. Projekt on not waving at stock Tacomas, but if it's got SOMETHING done to it that I can spot from afar then I usually wave ... and get ignored.

 

Normally I don't try to post every little escapade...but since I took an hour to write this I figured I might as well post it. This is the basic process of removing a bedside in case anyone might ever use it in the future in removing theirs.

True man, if I can find some sort of item that shows that have researched parts to enhance their truck whether through looks, better functionality, or whatever then I try to give a nod/wave.
