I test drove a 2016 a while back and I remember liking the joystick mirror control. I got into a 2017 while getting my car serviced a couple days ago and thought the control was different.

I could be wrong, but I thought the 2016 had a 360 degree range of motion on the joystick. The 2017 I got in moved in four directions only (up, down, left, right). Any owners care to chip in?

I thought I was able to move it in two directions at once (diagonally) but I suppose not.
Yeah I wanted to feel like a fighter pilot in the parking lot but I guess I can't buy the truck now.
Okay thanks, I suppose I remembered incorrectly. It would have interested me if they made such a small change between years, because that would mean possibly many other small improvements.

The engineering company I work for is always continually changing very small things to make them better, I'd be interested in what Toyota works on with these trucks between facelifts.
