It's either the same what we had in Minden or less. You don't really need a snorkel, we are not living in Australia lol. Plus if you are that deep under the water your fuse box etc will also get water in them.
Check expedition overland guys, they did some deep river crossing without the snorkels. It's all about the driver ;)

    thanks.
Only reason I have the snorkel is peice of mind and dust. Don't expect to do any boating. Plus with 35's the intake is going to be exposed, so this is a way to do it. I could have routed the intake to the cowling but figured the snorkel was the tried and true method.

Yes and yes. Currently running 265/70R17's but the lift goes on this week so I'll be looking to step up to a 285 from there.

I'll post in of4 or ask at Southwind how the easy traisls are. Like if they're a 2 or what. If they're easy maybe we can plan a trip there.

I dunno what it cost though for non of4 members

Nice. I may end up needing to do the CMC since I'm not fond of the ko2s. I'm happy with the duratrac but they only make a 33 in a 285. Not 255. So if I go 33 might need to go that route. Or try a different tire. But I've enjoyed the on and off road performance of the duratrac.

Same issue I had when I was choosing the 255's. Not many options and they aren't cheap, or readily available like the 285 or 315 for that matter.

Yep. I may have to just do the CMC. Although I'm not overly fond of it. Maybe I can get a test fit. Who knows after lift I might not even need to.

Ok so posted and already got a reply. Said rays trails at Southwind are not rated accurately. Less likely for damage on Minden than the easy ones at Southwind. Maybe Peter, Eugene and myself and whoever else wants to go can check it out first?

There's supposed to be a trail in bobcaygen by 5 points that's much easier that we could check out for @Canadianguy91.

Guess it also depends on what armour he will get and what he'll accept. I left Minden with just scratches to armour, and scratch on wheels. 20170807_114959.jpg

If you're not prepared for minor scuffs and scratches then maybe you should reconsider any trail that isn't just a dirt or gravel road with minor ruts. But any rock be prepared for this. Minden is a definite no without armour and breathers.

With 255's I didn't have to do the cmc. I am also running sway bars and I may not have the same articulation you may get with the fox shocks.

There are few 1 and 2 trails in Peterborough. We could possible do a day run where we try and hit all of them lol. Or we could camp out at a price of property we have just off the 115 around some of those trails. Few options.

    I'm down.

I'll be home later I got some pictures of your rig that Dan posted on his Facebook I'll send you. Good shots.

I'd rather not do CMC but the duratracs don't come in a 255. And I'm happy with them so likely will get them again. I've gotta look into it what else I can do or just test fit. A few have posted they fit 285 with minimal rubbing

Only a 2.5 cm difference. I think mine are +25 offset. Gives you an idea. Plus the 255's are 1inch narrower than your 265's
