What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Mine is a Gibson exhaust but this could be an issue with any exhaust using a large spare tire.

Wanted to just post some pictures of my light switch assembly and how to remove the cubby pocket on the left side of the steering wheel. Seems extremely difficult when looking at it but a little pressure from a small flat head and it pops right out.

 

Seems crazy to spend $250 to adjust your speedometer. Don't know about yours but mine is a consistent 4 mph over what is on the dash - just add 4 to whatever your gauge is reading. $250 can be spent elsewhere!

 

I agree, at 65 I'm doing 70. I think gears throws it off even more though

 

I have the 5 ft mattress with the self inflator and its money.

Trim tool kit is one if my best purchases lately to help avoid this. Don't use it a lot but sure comes in handy.

 

Yeah. I've seen a lot of people cut this and bend that, but you don't have to do any of that. Just follow this and it's a piece of cake.

Inferno is the same way. White shows up very easily on orange!

 

I'd say find a new car wash that's better quality. I wash my truck almost once a week if not more depending on the time of year and I have 0 scratches. Sorry to hear about all of these scratches.

 

I hand wash mine and it's just the Micro scratches but that's just how it is and nothing polishing won't fix. It's the tree branches and misc things that show up.

 

can someone tell why you would need two batteries. wouldn't that kill your alternator.

 

Yeah I talked to Marie at Headstrong before purchasing. The 5100's supposeably are larger diameter, more fluid which equals better dampening over stock 4600's.
