First off, Bronn..... Fucking MVP of the week!

So much happened, i have to say this challenges the Battle of the Bastards as the best battle in the series. That scene with Bronn going for the ballista, wandering though the melee with the Dothraki chasing him down, half dead flaming infantry stumbling around him, dragon overhead. If you did not have PTSD before that, you would afterward.

Sansa witnessing what Arya has become was really something as well. You could see it in her eyes, sparing with Brienne, she's a total psychopathic killer now.

 

This. Bran is the three eyed raven, jon was killed, brought back, and is king of the north, arya is a badass, and Sansa doesn't even have nunchuck skills. Guys omg want girls that have great skills.

That was a great episode. Second favorite behind BotB.

Will Tyrion run down and try to save his brother?

 

The Stark girls, Arya in particular have assumed quite a bit of that role anyways. Just not as dark.

Holy fucking fuck fuck!! Just finished the episode

 

Damn good one last night. I'll admit my jaw was hanging at the end.

 

That really was a great episode! Glad Rhaegar (Dany's dragon) was only wounded. Looked like it may not be too bad as he continued to lay waste to the ballista and Jaime's horse (lucky Bronn was there). The battle scene was just awesome though! Too bad the loot had already made it's way to King's Landing. At least the food stores got destroyed.

Sparks were flying a bit in the cave scene with Dany and Jon. I am glad we got to see the drawings by the Children of the Forest, and how they depicted on the earlier war against the Night King and the army of the dead. She seemed to take a bit more literal once she saw that. I don't know if Jon did bend the knee or not. But it is certainly going with the flow of a political marriage IMO. That may be what ties these two great houses together again (I know I know, aunt and nephew, but nobody knows that).

Arya had some great scenes too. Now that she is equipped with Needle and the Valyrian dagger, she is pretty damn formidable. The spar with Brienne was great. Maybe Sansa can take her seriously about her list now.

Bran is just so depressing. I guess those are the cards he was dealt though, being crippled and all, and now the 3 eyed raven.

Nice to finally see a legit victory for Dany's side. The previews for next week look interesting as well. It appears Jon announces to Dany and her council of the Night King's army marching on to Eastwatch. Can't wait for the next week!!

 

I'm just curious if Bran is going to let Jon in on his true identity before he and Dany get their hillbilly on.

 

Imagine what 1 dragon can do..... now, lets use the other 2 dragons

 

They're going to need another loan from the Iron Bank.

This battle was near the same location of the Field of Fire, the battle that cemented Aegon Targaryen's hold over Westeros, and resulted in the appointment of the Tyrell's as the rulers of Highgarden and The Reach after the killing of the Gardener line of succession. More history repeating.

 

Dragon was Drogon. Rhaegar is Dany's dead bro, father of another important character. Rhaegon is another of her dragons, named after Rhaegar, alongside Viseryon, named after Viserys.

Read an article about this scene. It was referring to season 3 when Littlefinger and Varys were talking and that's a direct quote from little finger. Basically this was Bran trolling him letting him know he knows everything he's ever done to screw over the Starks

 

Correct me if I'm wrong, but when the Targeryons were on the throne, didn't brother marry sister to keep the bloodline pure?
