It's so amazing.

I need to add a lift in my garage... It's on the list!

The hammer was only used for driveshafts, electrical connections, interior panel removal, and disconnecting the battery!

 

My buddy has a Sweet garage with a Rotary 2 post 10k pound lift

 

Some day! sigh...

My garage ceiling isn't high enough for a lift.

But I guess I shouldn't complain too much. At least I don't have one of those puny garages that I couldn't fit my truck in.

 

I haven't been able to fit any vehicle in the garage and close the door (not that my reg cab height wise now would fit) since I had my scion tC and that was a tight squeeze

 

My FJ BARELY squeaks into the garage with my spare on the roof. Had to adjust the door opener to get the door open high enough!

 

just air down, can prob snag an extra inch or 3 right there!

 

Once I get through the door, I have plenty of room

 

Mine's 24x24 with a 16 foot front door, so I can easily walk around the Tacoma when it's parked inside. It's a pretty good size for one vehicle plus room for a work bench, tool chests, the lawn tractor, etc.

My antenna just barely hits the door and the frame around it--probably a quarter inch or so too tall.

Eh, I don't care that much. It hits on some low hanging tree branches on my road if I'm close to the side too.

I suspect it won't with my winter wheels and tires since those are an inch shorter.

 

That's interesting one you have there... I think it can be done but you'd have to know specifically how the internals of the switch you're using operate to make sure there's no back feeding. It could be done with a 5 pole relay and a switch also I think

That's a DPDT on-off-on switch, you can get them from OTRATTW. You'd have to know how the internals work though, making sure everything internally is isolated because the switch is basically a diode in that configuration.

 

I wish my FJ fit in the garage. I don't even think the wife's stock T4R would, though I never tried. My 1st gen taco barely fit, so I'd guess the t4r would be a no go.

 

Even if I were to completely empty my garage, there's no way the F-150 is fitting in there. At stock height, the Tacoma would barely fit but the back bumper was damn near touching the back wall to get the door closed in front. The Ferd is a bit longer and I'm not sure I'd fit width-wise with the full size.

You guys have tiny garages. I fit my tundra in mine with no issues at all.

 

Well yeah... that's what happens when you build a nice brandy new house!
