I wouldn't say I've hit the wall, more rather slowed down a lot. I've got 16 years in the military under my belt and I am no spring chicken. My sore back and weak knees show up when I'm trying to keep with the new 18-20 year olds. I'm just glad I only have 4 years left. I do believe I'll prematurely fall apart thanks to my service.

I could be wrong, but I think the key to feeling good is staying fairly active. The best thing that I ever did for my joints was get one of those adjustable desks that allows me to work standing up.

Absolutely. I've been more active this summer than I have been since I was military. I feel better than I have in several years.

Lucky for my I'm only at my desk for about 2 hrs, most of the time I'm moving about. I burn about 3k calories at work and avoid the elevators.

You're going to live forever. I avoid the elevators at work because there's an e-mail that goes out each week about a different one needing to be repaired.

I haven't been in the thread awhile but has anyone talked about or bought the Garbage pail kids vinyl figures? $6 at Wal-Mart and Target. That's the only 2 places I've looked or seen them. I can't help but grab one if I see them. They're awesome! Only bad thing is that they're mystery packs. So you don't know which one you'll get . 20170803_143100.jpg

I went to the chiropractor for the first time when I turned 30. Her first question was "when did you break your foot?" I was like "huh?" Then I remembered an incident many years prior and had an epiphany right there in her office.
I'm right there with you on joints. My ankle sounds like a sack of marbles in the morning. I'm currently wearing two socks on one foot with ice packs crammed between them. Typical post-yardwork routine these days.

I started noticing my body responding less well around mid to late 32. I won't say it was anything significant, but I was also kind of paying attention for it. I was in a wreck last November, and my taco was spun and rolled at 20 mph. Just getting out of the truck, I noticed the pain in my back. I still have that pain 9 months later and it annoys me more than it stops me. I also pop my back far more often since that wreck than I did before.

I need to see one. I think my back will snap, crackle and pop during the visit. I broke my ankle in 3 spots while in school. Doesn't bother me, but it does snap depending how I move it.

Man, the way friends and acquaintances have been dropping like flies the last few years, I figure I'm tough as nails.

The only thing that's slowed down for me is my metabolism. It used to be as long as I worked out I could eat whatever I wanted.

Now I work out like crazy and have to watch what I eat!

Hangovers last all day, you pull muscles you didn't know exist, you plan meals so you don't feel like garbage the rest of the day. It's like a light switch.
