I think the biggest advantage to the ground tent is being able to stand up in it. Plus the exped megamat queen size is way more comfortable than any rtt mattress

Oh, I know haha. It would be pretty funny if a guy showed up with just a tarp on a group camping trip though haha

I just got an airbedz truck bed mattress. I've yet to take it camping, but I've gone to the drive-in and watched a movie on it. Super comfy. I'm either gonna do a truck bed tent or put the mattress in a regular ground tent I already have.

Hey I spent my fair share of time sleeping in the dirt with just a woobie and/or poncho. I'll spoil myself a little now.

Back of the truck works pretty good for now.
Leave the excess baggage at home and there is plenty of room for a man and his dog.

Dislike coffee but don't mess with my bagels! Breakfast bagel sounds glorious on the next trip

You and @Squeaky Penguin would get along just fine. Except for the coffee. But he was spotted drinking some kind of liquid concentrate cold coffee last time. So it may not count as coffee.
If you ain't picking it out of your teeth, it ain't camp coffee.

True cold brew coffee like Camealeon Cold Brew is great stuff. No acid and more caffeine. Why do you think he goes around skipping and dancingon trips. He has so much energy to burn.
