I know you love to buy toolboxes that don't get used ever. Maybe you can buy this one to keep the other company :D

Hey now, I knew I wouldn't use it until I buy a house. But the deal was good enough. One is plenty for me :D

You have a ford, you have to need a lot of tool storage to fix that thing. Maybe you should invest :boink:

Edit: maybe you and @cmack can go In together

it can become like a serving buffet for his fine china, and silverware to match his truck themed furniture.

My issue is getting it here to AZ... once it's here I'm more than happy to share, as long as everyone plays nice.:p

That was weird, I got an alert that your post just quoted me...

My understanding (which could be misinformed) was that it was definitely illegal for pistols but most likely illegal for long guns as well because lol inter-state.

If it weren't such a ball buster of a drive for me (arthritis) I would totally shuttle run there and back, return with a Tacoma loaded to the tits with guns and Yuengling.

I think there is a potential job opportunity there. The demand is there, just no supply.

My brother in law will be driving from Tennessee either next week or next week. Maybe he can bring some back.

You can ship weapons via fedex, give them a call to see what restrictions they have. If there is an issue, you can use FFLs to ship for you. Most charge a minimual handling fee and then the shipping charge. But that is only required if transferring ownership or selling out of state. Flying with firearms is really easy. Feel free to PM as I have flown with pistols several times.

Ugh see that's the problem, the convenient FedEx in my old 'hood is in soccermom-town (and not even the good milfy type) and they freak & refuse service if you even try to ship ammo "WITHOUT AN FFL" despite calmly explaining to them that you've already researched the relevant legal & hazard info and have all the appropriate labeling done.:jerkoff:

I shipped an M1A through them once and the guy was clearly getting all sketched out and asked me what was in the box. Even though that's none of his business if I'm obeying the law I was like "no worries dude it's truck parts". But yeah no way I'm getting like 8 cases and a pile of handguns through them another time.

Oh, and I asked at Scottsdale Gun Club and they wanted a separate 4473 and processing fee for each and every firearm. (Again with the :jerkoff: because I've filled out hundreds of the fuckers, used to work at a gun shop and I know they have multiple lines & it's totally legal to sell out the whole damn shop on one 4473.) Great range when you have ladies to bring on a Thursday, but good golly is their shit overpriced.

Can you do your fedex shipping online and schedule a pickup? Bypass the local store?

I use Catching A Dream in Payson to ship, buy or sell firearms. I know the guys and they care more about making a customer for life than make a ton off them. With a CCW they charge a flat $10 fee and I think it’s $20 for non ccw. They can order anything and have lots collector items come and go.

Rumor has it that they'll have some competition by the end of the year. C2 Tactical has indicated that they are building a range at Mayo Blvd and Scottsdale Road. C2 pricing is almost as high as SCC so I doubt that the new range will help motivate SCC to lower their prices in the long term. In the short term, however, there might be something of a battle for memberships.
