I have gotten my lights adjusted down some and they look good to me. I haven't been out riding at night to much tough. They are really easy to adjust. I hope that will fix the issue with people flashing me and me blinding them I guess. It has only been people I passed going the same way and not oncoming traffic. I don't drive a lot on 2 lane roads, mainly just highway.

Vbpiper.. Now the long wait on the shipping :(. They are good lights though.

Because a few others had gotten the "Philips" bulbs from xenondepot, I figured I'd compare to the cnlight bulbs. The results are much more yellow and a bit more light output. They give a much more stock color and while very bright, I think I would sacrifice the visibility for the color and get the cnlight.

Installed this with the Diode Dynamics relay and I keep blowing the 10 amp fuse that powers the drivers side low beam. The OEM H11 is connected to the relay "signal" wire using the 9006 to H11 adapter that came with the HID kit. I get HID startup for about 1 second then the fuse blows. Don't understand why the relay would draw that much.

Turns out the H11 end of the adapter that connects to the OEM wiring is reversed. Red does not go to red. Flipped it around and seems to be ok.

Anyone have photos of a clean harness install? I have mine running along the front of the radiator support bar and zip tied off but doesn't look that great. I saw some pics of it being run on the back of the support bar but it looks like it might touch the radiator.

Same here, more or less. Would not go so far as to use "clean" to describe engine bay. Also found the same good spot on both sides for the box coming off the ballasts.

I hate to ask, but I will... Could anyone please recommend a relay harness, other than DD $40 HD harness?
I understand quality costs $, but $40 is a bit excessive IMO.

    Edit:
Please Disregard... I think I might bite the bullet for a piece of mind

Thanks for the detailed write up. Just ordered the Hylux A2088 kit off eBay and the harness from Diode Dynamics. Now the 2 week wait for shipping begins... :goingcrazy:

Honestly you don't need the $40 dollar harness. I got the standard cheaper harness from DD, works perfectly.

Thanks for suggestion, I figured as much. Problem is, the cheaper harnes has been discontinued. Seems like they are capitalizing on HD harnesses.
I was thinking eBay or Amazon, but then I read reviews and freak out a bit....
So, of course I'd like to save some $$, but only if I can get tested and proven harness.

I don't mean to sound rude but any decent harness is going to be at least 20 dollars...so you're hunting around and taking a chance to save maybe 20 bucks? That really worth the time/effort?

That's what screws with me. Save a 20, and then: wires too short... Relays getting stuck... Weird connections with double grounds... Not water proof...
No, not worth taking too many chances. That's why I would gladly buy a tried and tested product. Would rather like to buy from TW member, but can't find specifics in buy/sell.
As mentioned before, I might actually get the HD harness, and screw it.
@Scooby24 thanks for suggestions and your write up. BTW, are you still running stock High Beams, or did you upgrade to something else?

stock high beams with this HID kit is a lightstage. you don't need anything else on road. unless you want to blind the crap out of other drivers coming around a corner.
