The company makes the difference for me. Never had a bad time out with everyone. I'm in for a Hot Springs trip before the end of the year. @Large if it comes times and all the cabins are full again the KOA right by the road that goes to the park is really nice. We crashed in a cabin there in March.

The one we ended up in somehow ended up being a "delux" cabin. Had it's own bathroom, stove and stuff

I'll be at bmra on Aug 26 for a day trip on the way to my deer lease. That will be my routine anytime I head out to set up the lease. Let me know if y'all make it up this way and I'll try to plan accordingly.

Also is there a park etc down near lufkin anywhere? If so that'd be an option

I'm always lurkin to try and find out when you guys are planning trips. Havent caught any ahead of time, its always right before or right after. Anywhere within 6 hrs of DFW is close enough for me to take a weekend trip! I've been wanting to get out with you guys since meeting you at BMRA back in January.

I would be down for a end of the year Hot Springs trip as I have never been...

I will be at BMRA in October and in November for some events though for sure. Helps that I am only like 40 minutes away from BMRA.

Come help me install shit on the truck? Still need to do the Solar as I have to figure out where to mount the control box for it since it has to stay dry and coolish.

Upcoming dates. Install @17taco4x4 lift at my house on Aug 26th. Message me for details.

Big bend trip oct 5th - 14th. Also message me for details as I want to determine group size.

End of October or beginning of Nov we will be camping the Renaissance festival. That date is TBD because one of our friends is shooting in a Netflix original and doesn't know his schedule yet.

Sometime in Nov a few of us were thinking Hot Springs. Before thanksgiving of course.

Which park are you referring to? If your talking about Shiloh Ridge in Alto, it is closed now. Not sure about Tree Off Road Park though.
When do you plan on doing this? You always talk about not having any time :notsure:

Hell yes, I love it there. The cabin was pure luck they had it and was unplanned. Actually came up cheaper that way

I know they bitch, if possibly go to more Dallas meets but Fort Worth there is no way when I am already driving atleast 60 miles to get to dallas and not many are willing to do a wheeling trip

It's the best, you got to come out one time with us

We will do another trip there for sure, you know your always welcome to ride with one of us idiots
We need to figure out the next date

Come on out, or send me your number and I can let you know. I'd see you again at the meets but fuck they like them far.

This coming weekend will be headliner removal and finishing the sound deadening project on the headliner and floor with what I have leftover, plus do the rear rock lights, next weekend I am off work the 17th and 18th as well and will be doing OBA wiring and possibly solar if I have time. Solar is on the bottom of the list right now as stuff to do before going to TN. Just feel like it is going to be a pain in the ass to do all the wire routing for it since I am either going to have to put the control box inside the cab... or somehow in the bed.

I was asking if there is one in SE Texas. My deer lease is in Bronson which is already 4 hrs from Dallas. Another hr or two to wheel wouldn't kill me if so.

I will be gone the 17th and not sure about this weekend as I too am trying to get things setup for my next trip, lol.
There are several, just depends on how far you want to drive and whether or not you want to wheel you truck or a atv/dirt bike.
    :humble:
But the question is, did you guys have fun?
