There's supposed to be a few around Peterborough and bobcaygen area that are more so unmaintained gravel and dirt roads. So some ruts but limited rock etc. Perfect just to get out and see. Moderate mostly capable in 2hi some spots 4hi.

Could do them as day trips just for trial for the guys not sure yet

The Duratracs have been good and the price was great ($208 per @ CND Tire) but I'm going to try something else when I step up the size.

Unfortunately, I don't have under armour (yet) and probably won't until next year unless I see a really good deal - where are you guys getting yours from?
My August is booked but looking to meet up in the Fall for a run or a simple mall crawl M&G.

Here's some pics of some stuff I installed this weekend that I really didn't need...

@Joe23 and I got Mobtow Off-Road Skids on a GB. Great product!
There are Fall runs (with camping) that could happened between September - November at Ardbeg, we'll see.
Our Mall crawl meet usually happens in the beginning of May, but SONTT is kind of dead now, so not sure what's going on there.

Yea sounds good. I did see that GB but had to get the lift first. And what is SONTT exactly...?

South Ontario Toyota Trucks (website is down), I am not sure what happened to them. But there was a lot of members with FJs, Land Cruisers, 4Runners, Lexus and of course Tacoma's, which were dominating in the past 2 years.

    Any reason for bed stiffeners?

I'm possibly down for a weekend trip in September depending on date

Armour is probably more important. Notice @NorilskSever and I have more armour than lift.
My lift is just over kill so expensive and taking time to finalize. But you can see it in my build.

Either way if we do soft trails you could come. Trying to find some stuff so those without armour etc can see how it is to just get out. Obviously Minden and ardbeg are not a good idea with at least skids.

Bed stiffeners weren't really a need just got them for fun. They reinforce your bed near your tailgate to prevent the tailgate and bed sidewall from separating when off-roading. Apparently it's a known issue but probably more for the extreme off-roaders. I was sold on the extra tie down points and beer opener.

I've been to Ardbeg once but just on the main road, nothing too crazy. What's this overkill lift you're running!?

Bed stiffeners if you have weight on the bed rails.
Before bed rails. Notice the huge gap between the tailgate

    After gap isn't as large.

I armoured up first. Then lifted. Definitely helped safe me a bunch of times including this past weekend when I high centered (double cab long bed problems).

Even without a cap your bed can twist and sway

Yeah they have been known to crack and what not. More for the long travel high speed stuff but everything helps. I like how I get the extra toe downs as well

there was a thread about it in the 3rd gen section and someone mentioned a good point though. The bed's made to flex and by doing so you're restricting the flex and could cause it to focus strain in certain spots and cause more damage where its not easily repaired.

I was looking at them for a while for the same reason of added tie downs but meh not needed for me. When I get the bed rack I'll probably consider them again.

I'm not starting to consider both a bed rack and a soft topper.

check edit above for the pics from the trail for the damage lol.

And no doubt but there was a lengthy thread in 3rd gen section about it and how it can focus strain.

Gotcha. I didn't have a choice as my bed was splitting. Plus I already have a crack in one corner prior to any supports. I have corner brackets and the bed stiffeners

lmao. They're needed if you get a bed rack etc. But without it not sure they're really needed. But the added tie downs are good.
